 The right tool for the job March 10, 2008
When the power supply for my piano keyboard fizzled out, I needed an exact replacement. The Yamaha PA5D Power Adaptor was the one I needed, and buying it through Amazon, it was half the price of buying one locally.
When in use, the power box rests safely on the floor because the cord is long enough to plug to the keyboard while on its stand, and also allows me a good distance from the wall outlet.

I am using this for my Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-500 keyboard and it works well and serves its purpose. I lost the one my keyboard came with and this is a great replacement for a great price.

Its a new design and hence compact and lightweight unlike the earlier one which was larger and heavier for the same specs
